How do I apply for the Generation Next Humanitarian Fellowship Program?
Candidates will submit online applications to specific job announcements by clicking on any one of the four host organizations shown on the APPLY page. Applications to multiple organizations are welcome.
Who is eligible to apply?
The GenNext Fellowship Program is open to recent Bachelor-level graduates (no more than 2 years after graduation) regardless of areas of study or undergraduate degree.
Must be a graduate of a Minority-Serving Institutions (MSI) in the United States. Click HERE for a complete list of MSIs.
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship

Where will I work?
Fellows will be placed at world-renowned humanitarian organizations that will provide technical guidance and a first-class immersive experience.
What is the duration of the Fellowship?
This is a 2-year fellowship.
What type of work will I do day-to-day?
Fellows can learn from various aspects of humanitarian work which can include technical areas like food, water, shelter, emergency healthcare, sanitation and hygiene, or critical nutrition services, as well as organizational areas such as human resources, proposal development, budget management, communications, or training.
What professional development benefits do Fellows receive?
Learning and professional development opportunities will be implemented for Fellows via virtual and in- person events and will be focused on identified competencies that are deemed important to a successful career in the humanitarian sector.
Will I have opportunities for career coaching and mentorship?
Fellows participate in learning activities to enhance knowledge and skills growth, expand professional networks and obtain career development through a robust mentorship program.
Do I have to be a U.S. Citizen to apply?
Yes, this fellowship is open to US citizens or US permanent residents.
